Buttonholes.

In our studio we offer a straight buttonholing service in a range of sizes.

We do almost all types of fabrics, except: sheer, knit, PVC/plastic, lace. 

Unless you are sewing a whole garment with us, before you bring your garment, mark it correctly and have your own threads with you.

Please check the following before bringing a garment for this service:

• Have a swatch of fabric with you to test it. 

• Mark buttonhole placement on the face side using chalk or pencil with a straight line or dots. 

• Make sure your fabric is interfaced.  

• Have your button with you for the accurate size.

• Have your own thread in preferable colour, 1 spool of 120 weight thread. 

Buttonhole sizing: 1 ¼” (32mm),  1 ⅛” (29mm), 1” (25mm), ⅞” (22mm),  ¾” (19mm), ⅝” (16mm) , ½” (13mm) , ⅜” (10mm), ¼” (6mm). 

Important: Please check your garment doesn't have pins.

Eyelets.

Also we offer an eyelet application service in our Studio.

We have metal eyelets in a variety of sizes (6mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm)  and finishes (white, gold, silver, bronze, gunmetal, cream).

If you want to use your own eyelets, contact us for further assistance. 

Please check the following before bringing a garment for this service:

• Have a swatch of fabric with you to test it. 

• Mark a dot on the face side of the fabric considering the size of the internal diameter. 

• Make sure your fabric is interfaced.  

Important: Eyelets’ placement can be not more than 7 cm from the edge of the fabric.  The following fabrics are a subject to testing: knit, lace, netting, thin jerseys, lightweight fabrics, leather, wadded. Before we do this service we require a swatch of your fabric to test it. Please check your garment doesn't have pins.
